Children’s Ministry Returns to Basement!
After more than 6 months of reconstruction, this morning our kids’ Sunday School and Junior Church will be back in the remodeled basement classrooms. There will be an open house next month for everyone to tour the classrooms. We are so thankful to the Lord for His provision, allowing us to complete this project.  
 
Refreshed Youth Retreat
On June 14-15 the Ocean City Baptist Youth Group will be traveling to Pennsylvania for their Refreshed Youth Retreat. The youth will be leaving after school on Friday and returning Saturday evening. The weekend will include Bible teaching, hiking, camping, and lots of fellowship and fun. The cost for this trip is $30. What better way to start off the summer than to get “Refreshed” with the Word of God! See Jamie Anderson with questions.
 
Adopt-a-Student
Adopt-a-Student is a great opportunity to offer fellowship, prayer, and encouragement to the CRU college students on Summer Project. Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you would like to be a part of this ministry. There will be a welcome dinner for them on Sunday, June 9. Questions? See Pastor Kevin.
 
O’Brien & Anderson Baby Shower
Ladies, please join us on June 8th at 11 a.m. as we celebrate the coming additions to the O'Brien and Anderson families. Both ladies are registered at Babies R Us. Please RSVP to April Osborne by June 2 at 925-989-9171 or stop by the welcome center.
 
J-1 Coffeehouse Outreach
This summer we will once again be working with our brothers and sisters in the Lord from several Ukrainian churches for a coffeehouse outreach to international students. These outreaches will take place every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. The first will be a BBQ in the parking lot on June 4. Check the foyer for invitation fliers that you can share with international students.
 
Anzardo Baby Gifts
We are getting very excited to welcome Jon and Kirsten Anzardo's second son into the world. If you would like to give them a financial gift towards their baby needs for “Baby #2,” please drop it off in the basket at the Welcome Center. Thank you in advance for your generosity as we celebrate their new child. Please be in prayer for them in these coming weeks as they prepare for him to arrive!
